Obituary of Kandyce K Simpson

Kandyce K. Simpson passed away peacefully on Aug. 8th 2022 at the age of 73 in Tacoma General Hospital with her son Rob by her side. She had many complications arise from her heart surgery on June 30th.

Kandi was predeceased by her parents Robert and Doris Kirton from Orting, Washington. She is survived by her sons Rob and Jamie Simpson and families including 6 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

Kandi graduated from Orting High School. She loved taking her sons to their sporting events over the years and she was their best supporter.

She worked for San Mar Corporation up until her heart surgery. She loved traveling and camping, especially down the Oregon Coast. She loved collecting Angel figurines and Angel art. She loved Classic Cars and enjoyed Car Shows. She also loved sports and was an avid Seahawks fan!

She enjoyed living in the Lake Tapps Washington area for the last 25 years with her friends Dick and Steph. She loved boating and jet skiing.

She absolutely loved her little 8 lb. boy Yorkie dog named Chance. She also loved Dick and Steph’s little 8 lb. Yorkie dog named Rose, which is Chances younger sister. They love each other so much. Lots of “play time” and “nap times” together. Kandi loved taking them for car rides.

In times of tears, we will remember the laughter. In times of sadness, we will remember the smiles. In times of loneliness, we will think of the times we’ve shared.

Kandi is at peace now and she’s one of God’s “special angels.” We will miss her.
