Gerry was a wise, smart and very kind human being. I had the deepest respect for Gerry which grew over the course of 54 years. Gerry loved his family more than anything in the world. One of Gerry’s main objectives was to make sure that his daughters received university degrees, he fought hard for this because he wanted them to be independent. I loved him and miss him deeply.
