Obituary of Mary Ann Hoffman

Mary Ann (Ostby) Hoffman passed away May 22, 2022 at the age of 80 surrounded by loved ones.  Mary Ann was born November 4, 1941 to Arnold and Lenora (McClain) Ostby in Ashton, Idaho.  Her family moved to Puyallup when she was young.  She attended Maplewood Elementary and Puyallup Jr/Senior High.   

She loved to spend time with her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren as well as read, go to the beach, camp out and spend time with her cats.   

She is preceded in death by her parents, Brothers, Robert and William, Sisters, Ramona Dixie and Pearl Doreen, and son Robert Hoffman. 

She is survived by her son Terry (Lola) Andrews, daughters Cathren Gaylor and Christina Johnson, 4 nieces, 1 nephew, 8 grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren.   

She was a kind and caring person, she was loved by many and will be greatly missed. 

A celebration of Mary Ann’s life will be August 14, 2022 at 12:00 noon at her grandson’s residence 19807 213th Street E, Orting WA 98360.
