Obituary of Ersula H Brandenburg

Ersula H “Sue” Brandenburg, 95, of Puyallup went to be with the Lord on July 13, 2022.

 

Born in Kurthwood LA, a sawmill town; graduated from Leesville High School in 1944.

 

She briefly attended Northwestern State University in 1946 before getting married and moving to Washington state.

 

Over the years she enjoyed bowling, golf, gardening and Bible study. She was proud of her career as a secretary at various businesses such as Fleischmann’s Yeast Plant, Pay-N-Pak stores, and especially Chenco Marine.

 

She was a long-time member of Bethany Baptist Church, helping in the Nursery for many years and later as a member of the Young At Heart class. Many of her closest friends attended Bethany and will miss her ready smile and laughter.

 

Long-time member of the Christian Women’s Club and Stonecroft Ministries.

 

Preceded by sisters Blanche Monk, Tossye Lee Eaves and brother Bill Hewitt Jr.

 

Survived by son William and wife Kathryn Mollett; grandchildren Brittany, Michael, and Jillian, great grandchildren Madison, Cody, Grace and John.
