Obituary of Diane Kerlin

Diane Kerlin left this mortal sphere on July 1st, surrounded by family and much love. Born 1937 in Los Angeles to Bessie and Jack Wasserman who passed before her. Diane leaves behind her children, Dan Kerlin, Joani Rittierodt (Robert), and Betsy Kerlin Pyun (Peter), and three grandchildren, Skylar, Kerlin, and Jesse. She also leaves behind several beloved nieces.  

Activist, supporter of nature, parks, trails, politics, and community causes. Lover of birds, musicals, National Parks, movies, baseball, and lifelong learning. Avid reader, birder, and traveler. Closest to Diane were her faith, family, and friends.  

Funeral mass will be held on July 18th 11AM. Reception immediately to follow at Noon. St. Andrew’s Catholic Church in Sumner, 1401 Valley Ave E. In Lieu of flowers please make donations to Tahoma Audubon Society. https://www.tahomaaudubon.org/donate
