Obituary of DWAYNE RAY GREER
He never looked for praises, he was rarely one to boast
He just kept contributing, no matter how tired or busy he was, to the lives of those he loved the most
His dreams were seldom spoken
His wants were very few
Most of the time his worries would go unspoken too
He was there…a reliable foundation through many people’s storms in life
An open ear to talk to in times of stress and strife
A great man we could turn to during times of good or bad
I know he’s one of my greatest blessings
The man I call Dad
Dwayne is remembered by his wife of nearly 43 years, Laura; his daughter and son-in-law, Amanda and Jules: his grand-daughters & apples of his eyes , Lydia and Helena; his sister and brother-in-law, Susann and Joseph; his brother Gary, and countless family and friends.
His ability to forgive, his silliness, commitment, and love was beyond measure.
Thank you for your support during this unfathomable time of loss. There isn’t really enough words to describe our gratitude for your heartfelt sympathies. As, Dwayne would often say:
“Don’t worry, be happy”.
With love, the family of Dwayne, Dad, Papa & Grandpa.
