Obituary of Delores Evelyn Bisher

Delores "Dee" Benn Bisher of South Bend, WA passed away on May 5, 2022 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Puyallup, WA. 

She was born on January 24, 1952 to Eugene and Cora Benn. In 1971 she married George Glowacki in Fort Wainwright, AK. Shortly after getting married they moved to Binghamton, NY and lived there until 1980, when she moved to Grays Harbor with her 3 kids, Jeanny, Lora, and John.  She would later marry Robert Bisher of Hoquaim, WA on August 5, 1989. 

 

Dee worked at many different places, including security for The South Shore Mall, Pacific Care Nursing Home as a cook, in the kitchen at Stafford Creek Corrections Center, and cooking for the Westport VFW. 

 

Dee, loved being in the outdoors, hiking with her daughter Jeanny, camping, fishing, reading books, and crochet while watching TV.  She loved spending time with her family and grandkids. She loved all her grandkids very much. 

 

Dee is survived by her husband of 32 years Robert Bisher of South Bend, WA, her daughter Jeanny and Lee Leverett of Colville, WA, 

daughter Lora Duncan of Butte, MT, her son John and Liza Glowacki of Aberdeen, WA, her stepson Michael and Tennelle Bisher of Aberdeen, and Chrissy Carr of Lacy, WA along with many other kids that needed a place to live when they were teenagers, or young adults. She is also the proud grandma to 14 grandkids, and  1 great granddaughter, and many nieces and nephews. She will be missed greatly by us all. 

 

She is preceded in death by her parents Eugene and Cora Benn, stepson Robert Bisher Jr., her brother David Benn, sister Donna Hanson, and grandson Austin Duncan. 

 

Dee was a loving wife, mother, grandma, great grandma, and friend to all. We will miss her love and smiles.
