Obituary of Sherry Renee Cromwell

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sherry Renee (Jennings) Cromwell, who passed away on April 26, 2022, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. Her children and her partner, Peter Sorenson, acknowledge with sincere appreciation the comforting prayers during this time of loss. Sherry was born and raised in Western Washington and lived in North Tacoma for the last several years. She will be remembered for her joyful spirit and passion for taking care of children as well as seniors. She enjoyed going to the Singing Christmas Tree every year, visiting the Tacoma waterfront, and playing her accordion for the children in her daycare. 

Sherry is survived by her children Michelle and James, and grandchildren David, Tyler, and Madelyn. She will rest peacefully with her parents Vernon and Beth, and grandparents Franklin and Esther Jennings in Eatonville, Washington.

She will be sorely missed by her family and friends. May her spirit find freedom, serenity, and peace.

Burial will be held on Thursday, May 12th, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Eatonville Cemetery (530 Fir Avenue North, Eatonville, Washington 98328). A reception will follow on Thursday, May 12th, 2022 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Mama Stortini's Restaurant & Bar (3207 East Main Avenue, Puyallup, Washington 98372).
