Obituary of Emily Leanne Welch

Emily Leanne Welch was born to Juli & Bradley Welch on August 5^th 2000 in Fresno, California. Her siblings include older brother Joseph, and younger brothers Ethan and Tanner.

Emily graduated from Buchannan High School in 2018 in Clovis, California, shortly before relocating with her family back to Washington State. She really enjoyed finding her independence when she started working at Target, before changing course to pursue her passion of helping others by working in the medical field as a Lab Assistant at Good Samaritan Hospital while continuing her education. She always worked very hard and showed great determination to accomplish things that were important to her and showed immense pride in everything she did.

Emily was very adventurous and enjoyed traveling, reading, watching movies, as well as spending lots of time with friends & her family. She was inseparable with her dog, Lady, who always loved to cuddle with her for hours on end while trying to steal her blanket.

Through all of life’s challenges Emily was always incredibly brave and strong willed. She always managed to stay strong and keep a smile, no matter how tough things got.

Emily passed peacefully at home on April 26, 2022, surrounded by her loving family. She will be profoundly missed by her entire family, and the many many friends that she made along the way.
