Obituary of Mary Louise Young

Mary Louise Williams Young went home to our Heavenly Parents on April 4, 2021.  She was born February 3, 1949 to Charles and Dolores Williams.  The second child of her parents, she has four living brothers and two sisters.  Mary is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Kent Young, and her eight children Sarah (Jeremy) Weeks, Coulson (Jennifer) Young, Thatcher (Anne) Young, Harden (Catherine) Young, Susannah Young, Jonathan Young, Ransom (Brooke) Young, and Max (Tina) Young and 19 grandchildren.  She graduated from St. Vincent Ferrer School in 1967 and attended Brigham Young University.  She volunteered for many years at Emerald Hills Elementary and was part of the writing center at Sumner Senior High.  She loved her SHS family.  Mary valued intelligence and kindness.  She was an avid birdwatcher and loved to bake, cook, crochet, knit, sew, and garden.  In memoriam of Mary, please donate to the Mary Young Phoenix Scholarship fund as part of Sumner Senior High.  Services will be held on Saturday April 17^th at 10 AM at the LDS church on 512 Valley Ave Sumner WA.  It will be broadcast at https://zoom.us/j/96506447226 .  The graveside service will be held prior.
