Obituary of Myrna Fisher

Myrna was called home by her Lord and Savior on March 18, 2021. She was born October 27, 1943 to Margaret & William Ogle in Tacoma Washington. Myrna was raised in the Tacoma area and attended Willard Elementary, Stewart Jr. High School and Lincoln High School. She graduated from Lincoln High School in 1962. Myrna had fond memories of meeting with the Lincoln ladies, female class members and looked forward to their monthly luncheon. She remained close to her childhood friends, Rita Demers, Helli Messmer and Barbara Mattson. Myrna was a proud Assiniboine Sioux of Montana, a warrior until the end. Her father, William Ogle was an honored WWII Congressional Medal of Honor Code Talker. Myrna was proud to have lived on her Puyallup Tribal allotted family land on Wilton Lane. She was active with the Puyallup, Cowlitz, and Modoc tribes. Myrna always delighted her friends, family with a warm and caring personality, from childhood through adulthood that never left her. She was a natural for the support and education in the tribal and public education arenas of learning. Myrna worked with the Puyallup Tribe for 10 years and loved and mentored native youth for over 25 years. She enjoyed her coworkers, especially her boss, Dave Syth who she loved as a son. Myrna’s special interests were the casino, where she was a frequent winner earning her nickname “Goldfinger”, and gardening in the rich soil of the Fife Valley. She was raised in a family as the oldest girl of five siblings, three brothers Billy, Victor & David and one sister, Helen. Myrna was predeceased by her loving husband, Jesse Fisher, Grandparents Edward and Myrtle Wilton, parents Margaret Edwards & William Ogle, her stepfather, Bill Edwards, her siblings Billy Ogle, Victor Edwards, and David Edwards. She is survived by her daughter, Lisa (Dan) Radloff, and son, Earl Tucker, and grandchildren Jessica (Darian) Broadhead, Daniel Radloff, sister Helen Hook, nephews Brian Smith, Billy Eveskcige, Brian Eveskcige, Danny Edwards, Chris Edwards and nieces Jennifer Eveskcige, Janet Edwards, and Jennifer Edwards. Sister In-law, Janet Goodwin. Great- Granddaughter, Ivory Mae Broadhead. All of us that loved her are comforted by the knowledge that Myrna’s sweet spirit is now dancing with the angels in the embrace of her beloved Jesse. She will be greatly missed by all of those who were blessed by her loving personality. We are all happy with our memories of her and thankful her pain and suffering are at an end. A special thanks to her nurse, Sherry Mason, and CHI Franciscan Hospice.
