Jack Young
Jack Levern Young born in Holyoke, Colorado. He served in the Army for 2 years and 8 years in the National Guard. He graduated from Sumner High School where he played football for all 4 years. He worked at Sumner Chevron Station for 20 years and Scarff Ford for 18 years. He also drove a school bus for Dieringer. He loved his rhododendrons and working in the garden. He was a member of Young’s garage stock car number 12 for 12 years. He loved bowling at Secoma lanes for many years. He leaves his wife of 61 years, Virginia; daughter, Debby (Gilbert) Seefeldt, of Yakima, WA; foster daughter, Rebecca Persons of Covington, WA; grandchildren, Roger (Sara) Jones of Puyallup, WA, Casey Lewis (Isaac Walter) of Yakima , WA, Trista (Jon) Jesse of Vancouver, WA; 9 great grandchildren, I great-great grandchild; sister Bev (Wes) Pogue of Spokane, WA; brother, Terry (Cheri) Young Columbus, MT and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by daughters Renee Jones and Dianne Young.
