Obituary of Michael Garner

Michael Garner, 60, of Graham WA, passed away after a decline in health. He was surrounded and supported by his loving family during the last days of his life.

Mike was a devoted Husband and best friend for 29 years to Theresa Garner, amazing father to Christin Horn, Philip Garner, and Gina Wardrope. Mike was a very proud Papa to his precious grandsons: Kaysen, Paxson, Kaston, and Cooper. Mike was an amazing son to Judy Garner and brother to his three sisters; Renee, Lori and Sheryl.

He graduated from Moses Lake Community College with his associate degree as an A&P mechanic. Mike flew to Alaska in his Cessna 150 after completing college and began his career as an aircraft mechanic.

Mike had a zest for life with his adventurous spirit and had many passions including:  Aviation, hunting, fishing, camping, and his love for cooking. He was one to always be the life of the party with his humor, jokes, pranks, and contagious laughter and smile.

As a devoted Alaskan for over 30 years, he scored the monster moose of his dreams on his Father’s birthday, September 25, 2015 and he proudly told anyone and everyone his story.

Mike is greatly missed by his family, loved ones, friends, and co-workers. He made such an impression with everyone he met. Please join us for his celebration of life, which will be held on October 3^rd at 27309 159^th Ave E, Graham, WA, 98338 at 11:00 AM with family and friends to share our favorite memories, our stories, to laugh, to cry and remember the wonderful person Mike was.
