My beloved Aunt Dorothy. I have many memories of being with you and having many laughs. You were always kind and loving with your big hugs and smiles. Always a classy, put together woman. You and Uncle Mauro raised a strong, loving daughter named Lori that Im proud to call my cousin. Rest in Peace until we all meet again. Dance with Uncle Mauro and give Big Kisses to my Mom n Dad. XOXO

Dorothy,
I just wanted to thank you for the many times you let me into your home. I always admired your home, it reminded me a great deal of my grandma Vera grandpa Dino’s home in Abq. I enjoyed swimming in your pool with my cousins, your grandsons and I enjoyed the laughter and conversations we had up in your sun room. You were always so gracious and kind. I wish you peace and comfort in your afterlife.
With love,
Bianca Villani-Pere

Dear Mom,
Our journey began together in 1957 when I was born your daughter. It's been a wonderful journey that has changed course throughout the years. In 2013 it changed again as your health worsened and my intervention and care was required. Our journey then till your passing on 6/4/2020 was about supporting and caring for you through these difficult years. As difficult as it was, I feel blessed that I was able to be there for you.
I, now, choose to reflect and be nurtured by all the wonderful memories we shared over the span of our lives together.
When I was about five I wanted this pair of shoes that I can still picture today. They were black velvet with black and white laces and colors on both sides. You said I could get them if I learned to tie my shoes. I quickly learned and smile now just thinking of how I loved those shoes. When I was a teenager and you wanted me home for dinner you would say," I am making spare ribs, chicken in lemon sauce, or that special bread stuffing." It always did the trick and I would be home for dinner. As you got older you always looked so beautiful and you loved to have on your beads and earrings. You would love when I would come and see you and I would bring you soup, ice cream, or a shake. I have fond memories of taking you for walks in the wheel chair and how you loved to stop at the park. You always loved to come to our house and sit in the yard.
In the later stages you always knew me as your daughter and you would say, "I love you and I always have."
We last saw each other on June 2nd and I prayed with you and told you to go be with dad since he was waiting to celebrate your 72nd wedding anniversary in Heaven. I told you I would see you again and I will mom. Till we meet again in Heaven I will hold a special place for you in my heart.
Love your daughter,
Lori Karen

Dorothy was such a nice and kind woman. I am glad that we got to know her. She always made a point to come see us when she was in town and was always fun to talk to. I will never forget her amazing smile!

To my mother-in-law (mom)
We loved you and will continue to love you in our thoughts and memories. You lived your life fully -- being a supportive wife, mother and grandmother. Unfortunately, you were unable to meet your great granddaughter Grace although you knew of her. But, your legacy will continue.
I thank you for raising the love of my life, your daughter, Lori. She carries your torch of life everyday and is the soul and spirit of our family.
The last couple of years were hard on your physical body, but you are now free in spirit and soul - flying higher than any mountain and then some. You are at peace in Heaven with your beloved husband, Mauro.
Thank you for giving life to our family and sharing yours with us. You will be missed and loved and we will see you again.
Love,
Ken
