Obituary of Patricia Saint

Patricia “Patty” Saint, 69, of Puyallup Washington passed away December 4, 2019 in Sumner, Washington.

Patty was born to Marjorie and Albert Saint on March 1, 1950.  Due to a blizzard, she was born at home in McHenry, N.D.  The family moved to Seattle in 1956, with their mother, traveling by train with the 5 children and 2 large trunks with all their belongings.  Albert was already in Seattle, having found employment with Boeing.  Patty graduated from Chief Sealth High School in the Top Ten of her class in 1968. She continued her education at Seattle Central Community College, receiving her AA in 1970.  She worked in Student Programs at Green River C.C. for 36 years until her retirement in 2010.  During this time she volunteered with USO at Sea Tac, supported the Green River C.C. drama productions, golf tournaments and student athletics.  Following retirement she was a PSAT monitor and volunteered at Franklin Pierce Co-op garden.  She also supported the delivering of library books to the homebound.

Patty is survived by her sisters, Vivian Moore (Gary) of Graham, and Jean Ennis of Hoodsport and brothers James Saint of West Valley, Utah and Gary Saint (Debra) of Eatonville.  She is also survived by 4 nieces and 3 nephews who saw her as the fun, life-loving aunt who hiked, biked, traveled, loved mysteries, gardening and all sports.  We will truly miss her.

A Celebration of Life ceremony is to be held at 3:00 p.m., February 29, 2020 at Meridian Habitat Park Center, 14422 Meridian E., Puyallup, Washington.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CurePSP, 1216 Broadway, 2nd Floor, New York, NY 10001
