Obituary of Tracey Givens

On Monday, December 16, 2019 the world lost a great soul.  Tracey Bernard Givens was lovingly released to heaven by his family after a sudden cardiac arrest.  Tracey was sick for many, many years and he fought harder and with a more positive attitude then anyone could possibly imagine.  He never complained about how sick he was, never said he was in pain, told everyone he was feeling good and doing well, was always smiling and laughing and talking shit to everyone he knew.  He was a man with a huge heart who liked to act like he wasn’t.  Tina always said his heart was deep down in his big toe, along with his tear ducts. 

Tracey is survived by his wife of almost 28 years, Tina J. Givens. His beautiful, smart, talented personality twin of a daughter Ceaira Marie (27), her amazing husband (whom he always referred to as THE best son-in-law ever) Victor Manuel (27) his two absolutely amazing and unbelievably adored grandchildren, Gianna Sol (4), Masiela Luna (1 ½) and one on the way. His tenderhearted, funny, talented and smart sons Jakeb Ryan (13) and Daniel Gabriel (17). His newest daughter, Linda Marie (29) and two more already loved grandchildren Mondre Ray (20 months) and Ahmyria Quelyn (11). 

He is also survived by the brothers he grew up with David Jenkins and Dominic Brown and many other brothers and sisters on the Givens side, his adored in-laws and extended family and so many close, life long, amazing friends.

Tracey was a hard core Pittsburgh Steelers fan and a diehard Franklin Quaker.  He loved hard, fought hard and was a true believer in Christ.  He loved comedy, making people laugh, TV to the extreme, music, singing, being silly, teaching/mentoring, cooking and his animals but most of all he loved being a Papa.  He would help anyone that wanted to help themselves and anyone that needed it. 

He will deeply, deeply be missed and always remembered and always loved.
