Ronald (Ronnie) William Koob

Ronnie passed away Monday Morning November 4th, 2019 in Bellevue Washington. After a long health crisis, His sister Jan and Brother in law Mark Fulwider was with him playing his favorite music and prayed over him as he was guided by his angles into his Lord Jesus Christ’s arms into heaven. At the age of 72 years old. Ronnie was born in Seattle on April 6th, 1947.

Preceding him in death is his Grandparents Josephine (Berry) LeGaz, Anthony LeGaz. Uncles, Anthony LeGaz, George LeGaz, John LeGaz, Eugene LeGaz, William LeGaz. Aunts, Evelyn (Dolly) Roach, Irene Nicholson and Juanita West. His Parents, John J Koob and Helen V (LeGaz) Koob. Twin Sisters, Dianna, Deanna Koob. He is survived by his Sisters, Sharon Ann Brittain, and Jan Marie Swaffield (Mark Fulwider)

Nieces and Nephews, Christopher (Kris) Andersen, (Carsen, Cash), Bethany Andersen, (Alex, Kayla Ann, Zach, Riley), Joshua (Megan) Swaffield, (Rhyce, Mikaela, Kendall, Ty), Briana Swaffield, (Jonathan).

Ronnie attended the Houghton school for special needs children. He then graduated to the public-school system where he joined a training program in janitorial service which he graduated from. He attained a job and worked for the United States Postal Service at 4th and Lander in Seattle for 33 years when he retired. He received many awards for exemplary work ethics and perfect attendance. Ronnie had many friends. He loved all animals and birds. He loved listening to music, 50s and 60s were his favorite.  Playing bingo with mom, going to the casino, playing games with family, watching wrestling, watching game shows, he could answer all the questions, watching sports; he loved it all!! Ronnie was the sweetest, dearest man who knew how to make everyone feel special and Loved with his actions, words and kind jesters. He was the greeting card King. He loved to send birthday & anniversary cards to everyone. If you received one of them you knew that you were loved.  We will miss him terribly; our family has been so blessed to have a such wonderful man in our lives for 72 years. He taught us by example how to work with integrity, live to the fullest, love abundantly, forgive always and HOW TO LOVE THE MAN UP STAIRS!

Burial will be held at 9:30am on Thursday, November 21st at Sunset Hills Memorial Park located at 1215 145th Place SE Bellevue, WA 98007.

Celebration of Life Mass will be held at 11:00am on Thursday, November 21st at Holy Family Church located at 7045 120th Ave NE, Kirkland, WA 98033. Father Jim Dalton as Celebrant. Reception to follow. All are welcome.
