William Hufty

Obituary of William Scott Hufty

William Scott Hufty, age 49, a Christian…

My precious son, Tre’s loving dad, unassuming brother, loyal to God, family, friends and a valued employee of Dynacraft (PACCAR), Seahawk “fan’-atic, ‘hot sauce’ lover, died Saturday morning, October 26, 2019, as the result of a massive deep brain stroke.

Scotty graduated in 1989 from Redmond High School, in Redmond, Washington.

“The Huff’ willingly answered the call from his country by enlisting in the US Army soon after graduation from high school.  For boot camp at Fort Sill, Oklahoma, he was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 19th Field Artillery and served in Korea and OPERATION DESERT STORM.  It was at Fort Sill that he was baptized on August 27, 1989.

At the time of his death, Scotty was an employee at Dynacraft (PACCAR).  He loved working where there was a culture of growth, lasting relationships, camaraderie, and an overall feeling where he knew he was valued.

‘Will’, ‘Scotty’, ‘The Huff’ was the embodiment of loyalty, love and grace.  He extended all of those attributes to everyone he knew. As van Goethe said, “You can easily judge the character of a man by how he treats those who can do nothing for him.”

His son, sister, brother and I are broken-hearted and still in shock.  I know many of you reading this post are in shock, are grieving and will miss him as well.  Feel free to SHARE my post with those that knew Scotty.

A mother holds her children’s hands for a while and their hearts FOREVER!

Scotty, I will forever by your ‘MOMZ’!
