Phyllis loved reading her bible and attending weekly church services. She was avid about her crafts; quilting, embroidering, crocheting, and scrap-booking. She worked at Seatoma Convalescent for 25 years as the food services director/kitchen supervisor. She is survived by her sister-in-law Marlin Vanderhoof,  two stepsons, Michael D Walch, his wife Marcia, Dennis C Walch, his wife Sue, her son Richard Alt-Walch, daughter Wendy R McCauley, many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews that she loved and adored. Her wit and her charm will be sorely missed. Graveside service at Tahoma National Cemetery Sept 10th @ 11:15 a.m.
