Paul continued to remodel and repair over the years. Retirement came in 1997. As a lifelong bachelor, Paul had local friends who enjoyed relaxed games of golf in the area. There were also trips to Reno and Hawaii. He was a Huskies fan and followed the Seahawks. One could find Paul at Longacres or later at Emerald Downs a couple times a week testing his skills with small wagers on the horses and having a good time with fellow enthusiast. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Buckley Eagles, 29021 State Route 410 E., Buckley, Washington on Sunday, August 11, 2019, 2-4pm.
