Obituary of Weldon E Burgess

Weldon E Burgess passed away on May 31, 2019 in Gig Harbor, WA due to complications from pneumonia. He was 73 years old. A life long resident of Puget Sound. Born in Tacoma on June 28, 1945. Weldon leaves behind his wife of 55 years, Barbara, children Debbie and Chris and granddaughter Kirsten. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, sister and half brother. Weldon’s career included ownership of a service station at Dash Point, supplier management at Boeing and finally as a Longshoreman in Tacoma. He retired in 2017 to his home in Port Orchard. A memorial will be scheduled later this summer.
