Obituary of Dennis John Wagner

On Wednesday, May 29th, 2019, Dennis J. Wagner, passed away at the age of 64 surrounded by his loving wife and family. Dennis was born on February 4, 1955 in Tacoma, WA to Joyce and Fred Wagner. He graduated from Franklin Pierce High School in 1973. He attended Clover Park Vocational Technical Institute and successfully completed their welding course. At the end of 1975 he joined the Navy where he served for 4 years. He worked for Mann Russell as an assembler for 15 years before going to work for Globe Machine for the past 24 years. In 1994 he married Susan, his wife of 25 years. His hobbies included going to the gun range, fishing, cooking, and barbecuing. Friends and family always looked forward to his amazing barbecued ribs! He was loyal, dedicated, and hardworking. He enjoyed traveling to Alaska to visit and spend time with his family. Dennis was preceded in death by his father, Fred, and his mother Joyce. He is survived by his wife Susan, his daughter Tina (Scott Birdsong), step daughter Rachel (Jack Hopkins), step son Brent LeMon, his sisters Dellene, and Debra. Three grandchildren Vayda, Bryson, and James in addition to several nieces, nephews, and other family members. Memorial Services will be held Thursday, June 13th at 2:00pm at Hill Funeral Home in the chapel at 217 E Pioneer Avenue, Puyallup WA 98372. A reception will follow at Vadis at 1701 Elm Street East. Sumner, WA 98390. The internment will be held Monday, June 17th at 10:00 AM at Tahoma National Cemetery 18600 Southeast 240th St. Kent, WA 98042.
