Obituary of Virginia Ruth McClure

Virginia R. McClure (Palmer) a resident of Puyallup Washington, passed from this life to the arms of her family and loved ones on May 21, 2019. Virginia was born in a little house in rural Naches to Ida May Carol Bayer and Halbert Oren Palmer.

 

Virginia, Jenny as she was known by many, was one of 5 children in the Palmer household. She was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and served many of her fellow members in different roles and responsibilities within the church. Until her health prevented her, she was dedicated to ministering to the needs of other women in her congregation.

 

She was dedicated to doing family history research had compiled a sizable family tree.

 

She is survived by her sons Carey McClure, Lee McClure, Tim McClure and her grandsons Todd McClure and Christopher McClure, six grandchildren, as well as her Sisters Linn (Palmer) Anderson and Viola (Palmer) Hale.

 

She was preceded in death by her Parents, her Husband Carl “Mac” McClure, her sister Grace (Palmer) Meyer, and her brother Johnny Palmer.

 

Services for Virginia will be June 4th, 2019 at 1:00 pm at the LDS church located at 13420 94th Ave. East, Puyallup. Interment will be at Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent, Washington.
