Obituary of Pamela Ann Brown

Pamela Ann (Collins) Brown, age 74, passed away on April 4, 2019 at her home in Buckley, WA, after a struggle with colon cancer and its related complications. Pamela was born on September 27, 1944, in Des Moines, Iowa, to Melvin Stanhope Collins and Dorothy Maxine Bright. Pamela leaves behind her husband of 35 years, Larry Keith Brown, her brother, Stephen Collins, 7 biological children, 7 stepchildren, 6 adopted children, and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Pamela is preceded in death by her parents, her eldest son, Larry, and her eldest daughter, Luann. Pamela was known for her passion for world travel, genealogy, her faith, and her family. Although Pamela was born in Iowa, she spent many years living all over the U.S. and the world including Germany, Italy, Guam, Panama, Hawaii, Iowa, California, New York, Oregon, and Washington. Pamela spent countless hours helping others and touched many lives in many different places. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She pushed through many obstacles in her life and always tried to set a good example. She leaves behind a legacy of compassionate service, hard work, and dedication. Service to be held Wednesday April 10, 2019 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Buckley 1st Ward Building, 1316 Ryan Rd, Buckley, WA 98321
