Michael J. Lavender, a resident of Bonney Lake, was born on March 4, 1957 in Wichita, Kansas and died on May 24, 2012 in Puyallup. Michael enjoyed riding his Harley motorcycle, spending time with his children, family and friends. He worked at Boeing for 34 years.

He is survived by his wife, Kimberly; Children, Jeremy Lavender and Nicole Powell; Step-Daughter, Talissa Fromal and Kailee Rude; Mother, Lorene Lavender; Brother’s, Steve (Maryann) Lavender and Rick (Shanon) Lavender; Five grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 2, at 9:30 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 512 Valley Ave. Sumner. Interment will follow at Sumner Cemetery.
